Are you ready to live the healthy lifestyle you have always dreamed of? Whether you are prepared to make big changes in your eating habits, or just want to go from good to great, this seminar is for you.
Julie has been a creative professional for 14 years and a Certified Life Well Coach with Live Well International for just over two years. She is co-chairman of Buy Fresh Buy Local–Central Illinois and a member of the Springfield Local Foods Task Force.
She likes to make it clear to her clients that we don't have to go from one extreme to another, it's about making progress in whatever ways that are appropriate for the individual. It's not about perfection! She likes to live by and offer to others the 80/20 rule - do your best to be good 80% of the time and allow 20% of the not-so-good choices - if that works for you. Weekdays and weekends are a good way to monitor yourself if you want to follow this rule.
Julie has found a way to slowly build and increase a healthy lifestyle for herself and her family. For many years, Julie's love of cooking lead her to an way of nutrition consisting mostly of fresh vegetables and fruits along with organic, pastured lean meats, eggs and whole grains.
Then, a few years ago, she started using USANA's vitamins which she has found helpful in several ways. The early afternoon crashes she used to have are gone and she can ward off any colds that starts to arise. She enjoys being able to be proactive against the many toxins in today's world, especially for her children.
Next, after learning more about the Healthy for Life program and low-glycemic eating, she has found that this program emphasizes the nutrition that she has been applying for many years, only now she is even more aware of how it affects the body and that good fats are also needed for a complete diet.
Finally, after making her fitness a priority through Live Well training, she found a way to integrate exercise into her life. Walking, running, pilates add not only physical fitness but also mental well-being and clarity.
"I love that I can integrate the Healthy For Life program with my family and the element of healthy convenience the USANA products add to our busy lifestyle."
She is the mother of two children – a five year old boy and a three year old girl.
Julie's focus in her wellness business is to help in making people's lives better, especially helping those parents who want to make sure their children get proper nutrition and empowering children to make the natural connection between food and their bodies. She is currently working towards starting a Farm to School program in the Springfield, IL area.
